Ingredients
  

  • 4 Catfish fillets
  • 1 Cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each catfish fillet in the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, pressing the flour onto the fish to ensure it sticks.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350 degrees F.
  • Carefully add the coated catfish fillets to the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Use tongs to remove the fish from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce or remoulade.

Notes
