Back Yard Burgers Celebrates Return to Rogers
‘Free Burger Friday’ to debut Oct 26ROGERS, ARK.– Back Yard Burgers is being welcomed back home to Rogers. Under new ownership, Back Yard Burgers has reopened in a refreshed space where residents once found their favorite flame-grilled burgers, turkey burgers, famous seasoned fries and hand-dipped milkshakes.
“The reception has been outstanding — the best so far,” Josh Powell, experienced franchise owner of the Back Yard Burgers in Rogers and nine others in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee, said. “People keep saying that they are glad we are back, so we are honored to bring back to them the taste of something they have loved. Back Yard Burgers is an iconic southern burger restaurant, and it’s our goal to please our fans.”
Powell comes from a family of Back Yard Burgers owners. His father was one of the first franchisees, and Josh has since taken over the business. Under Powell’s leadership, the company has expanded its reach to ten restaurants in Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee.
To celebrate its return to Rogers, Back Yard Burgers is doing a Free Burger Friday giveaway on Friday, Oct. 26. On that day, the first 100 people in line when the restaurant opens at 10 a.m. will each receive one free burger so they can taste the flame-grilled difference for themselves.
The mission of Back Yard Burgers is to create and cook a burger that’s just as good as the one you would grill in your back yard – and maybe even better. The brand uses 100 percent Black Angus Beef for its burgers, which are made-to-order and flame-grilled. In addition to burgers, Back Yard Burgers also offers other food, treats and drinks that recall that special back yard taste.
Back Yard Burgers is located in a newly remodeled, 3,300-square-foot restaurant space at 4301 Pleasant Crossings Boulevard in Rogers. The restaurant has hired 15 employees from the Rogers area, and will be hiring more. Back Yard Burgers is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and can be reached by calling 479-903-7555.
