Don’t waste your time, $, or health!
I was in Bentonville visiting Family and we decided on the waffle house , but there was a 30 min wait so I went back outside to chill and noticed Lin’s Garden across the street. I told my bro I was going to lin’s and getting a spicy garlic chicken to go. Now this was my first time visiting this “restaurant” but not my first time at lin’s nor was it my first time eating this dish, bc from 2006-2017 before it shutdown in Fort smith I ordered this dish minimum once a week, with that being said when the waitress brought the food out the first thing she said while laughing and grabbing my plate was “If you need a to-go box and an extra water I’ll get that for you now.” Wait! What? You haven’t even sat my plate down, So I knew something was up especially after having worked FOH/BOH at 4 main establishment’s. So she sat my plate down and the whole bowl was a deep dark brown from the chili sauce , so she left and went to the hostess(highschool) desk and started whispering, pointing, and laughing which made it even more obvious , unknown to them Habanero is my favorite pepper and at that point it was 11:00am, no breakfast and I hadn’t had Lin’s in years and I love spicy so I crushed the entire plate w/ no to go box/water, l then walked my A$$ back to the kitchen and told the cook to grow up , step his weak A$$ cooking skills up and above all don’t play w/people’s food!!!! Lol all I heard was 🦗🦗’s from everyone …It was sad to see the REAL Lin’s Garden in Fort Smith shutdown and even sadder to see this one stay open , they can’t hold a candle to the real Lin’s garden sadly most will never know…. they are now just an off-brand wanna be Lin’s , hahaha more like Has-Been’s Garden…..
