NWAfood.com has been Northwest Arkansas’s home for local dining since 2014. What began as a simple way to keep up with the region’s fast-growing food scene has grown, over more than a decade, into a free and comprehensive guide to the restaurants, cafés, food trucks, and hidden gems that make NWA one of the best places to eat in the country.
Our mission
We believe every local restaurant deserves to be found. Our goal is simple: to provide the most accurate, complete, and up-to-date information available for every listing on the site — menus, hours, photos, reviews, directions, and more — so diners always know where to go and what to expect before they walk in the door.
Just as important, we’re here to champion the small businesses that give Northwest Arkansas its flavor. Plenty of great local spots don’t have the time, budget, or know-how to build an online presence — and in today’s world, being hard to find online can quietly cost them customers. We give those businesses a free platform to be discovered, helping drive real traffic and revenue back to the people cooking the food and serving our community.

Who we are
NWAfood.com was founded by Ken McClary. Ken is also the founder of the NWAmix.com Media Network and the author or co-author of every site within the network. Day to day, our coverage is kept broad, current, and genuinely useful with contributions from Matt Miller and Bryan Hawkins.
As part of the NWAmix.com Media Network — a family of local outlets dedicated to celebrating everything that makes Northwest Arkansas a great place to live, work, and eat — we’re proud to give the region’s food scene the attention it deserves.
