Bonefish Grill in Rogers, AR
Northwest Arkansas has slowly been building up its population of restaurants and one of my favorite locations is Bonefish Grill in Rogers. I have been dining in some of the finest restaurants in the area for many years now, and I must say, my last visit to Bonefish Grill for lunch was quite an experience.
As I entered through their turnstile door I noticed they have done some beautiful updates to the restaurant’s décor. The dining area is lined with large booth seating and romantic lighting to give a comfortable dinner date setting. Their center tables are quite long and perfect for dinner parties. Not just a fine dining location, Bonefish Grill also has a very attractive bar with high definition TVs to watch the game.
I started lunch with their new Twisted Edamame Hummus topped with a roasted tomato relish and pepitas, served with crispy flatbread chips. This was a perfect blend of flavor and texture but the presentation alone was enough for me to already like this dish. This generous portion is the perfect size for a party of four and is quite a treat.
For the main course, I decided to go with Bonefish Grill’s new Surf & Turf Burger. It is Bang Bang Shrimp® on top of an American Kobe Beef Burger, served on a toasted brioche bun. I really loved the flavor of the special sauce and how they did not overcook the shrimp. I also tried the Parmesan cheese French fries as my side and they were delicious. Overall the new Surf & Turf Burger is a great addition to the Bonefish Grill Menu and I really enjoyed it.
There were a few desserts that caught my eye, but I went with the Sangria Flatbread. A brioche flatbread topped with a berry sangria preserve, mascarpone cheese, candied pecans and drizzled with a creamy wine custard sauce. Yum! I believe this is a seasonal item available in the fall so keep an eye out for it if you miss out this season.
If you are searching for fresh seafood dishes, a broad wine list, and an upscale yet cozy location, I would recommend Bonefish Grill as your detonation.
