Delicious
Just an all-around great casual eating experience. The food was outstanding and authentic. Everyone was so nice and pleasant and service was excellent. The setting was quaint and inviting. You’ll want to make this a priority.
Tintos and Tapas has been a venture influenced by our family-owned coffee farms in the coffee mountain regions of Colombia. It has been a passion brought on by the love of Colombian food, family, and the harmony developed within communities. A tinto, “inky water”, served with a type of sugar cane called Panela is the Colombian version of a cup-o-joe. You can find one in the morning, noon or at night surrounded by coworkers, friends, neighbors or family. It is not a cup of coffee influenced by the anticipated need for caffeine, rather the tinto experience is the gathering of families, music, people working passionately to build communities and network with one another.
Make sure to get a Colombian Sweet Tea!

We had the empanadas and arepa- both were delicious. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. Fresh and authentic food. Just what downtown needs.
I had the empanadas which were all made in house, the crunchy outside and soft inside was amazing. Also had the beans and rice which were so flavorful, not spicy b/c Colombian food is not spicy. And to finish my meal I had a hot chocolate with a fun surprise at the bottom, you must try it for yourself.
We stopped by Tintos & Tapas today for a a quick takeout order and grabbed the Chicken Arepas. Really enjoyed the pulled chicken and slaw mix. Not sure if they make their plantain chip in-house but everything else was fresh! Would have loved to get some spice with this but overall really great. Looking forward to testing out a few other items on the menu.
