Wright’s Barbecue is one of the best known BBQ restaurants in Northwest Arkansas for rib, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. They have come a long way from their humble beginnings as a food truck now offering multiple restaurant locations, online ordering, and Wright’s Barbecue signature sauces & spice blends.
The Johnson location offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is wrapper with a wood patio. They have a stage for live music events and lots of room for the kids to burn off some energy.
You can find Wright’s Barbecue in Johnson, Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Now also in Bentonville, Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm!
Just a head up if the reviews on here are bad. that just because so many people show up they run out of food! Most of the bad reviews are due to long line and them running out of something so keep that in mind when heading out. Hopefully adding more locations will help with supply and demand
Absolutely horrible, not good, just disappointing.
Took my 2nd trip to wright’s BBQ today, spent $60.00. Absolutely terrible. Brisket was cold and greasy, cut 3 pieces and nothing but fat, greasy nastiness. Pulled pork was super dry and room temp, smelled like liquid smoke, the greenbeans tasted of sugar, yuk! , and the smoked beans was not done, super cold and still hard, Absolutely disgusting. I tossed it all in the trash. Save ur cash, this place is just disgusting.
We have been to this restaurant several times. Each time the food was wonderful and the employees were very nice and helpful. Even if you have to stand in line, it goes fast!! I would recommend this place 100%.
Hindsight is 20/20
Waited in line for 30 minutes with my husband & 2 daughters. When we got to the counter, we were informed that the only meats available were sausage & (I think he said bacon…?). It is a Friday night at 5:30 w/ live music starting up. A little foresight might not have hurt. At the very least, an employee should’ve come outside & informed the ever-growing line that there were limited meat choices. I will definitely be sharing my disappointing experience & will think twice before eating there again.
Worth The Trip!
Headed out to Wright’s BBQ and they let us (a.k.a. NWAFood.com) try a little of everything! Brisket was tender, pulled pork smoked to perfection, chicken was juicy, and ribs falling off the bone as expected. Premium BBQ! The big win for me was the sausage links. Arkansas has a bunch of great BBQ but only a handful can serve up a great link. Haven’t been out for the live tunes yet but planning to check that out soon.
Excellent food but…
There is no doubt that this place is worth every penny. Everything is excellent right down to the customer service. the only issue is the space. and long lines. When it’s warm outside you can sit in the beer garden. The long lines at lunch make this the perfect lunch spot only if you have the time.
