Wright’s Barbecue Johnson

We have been to this restaurant several times. Each time the food was wonderful and the employees were very nice and helpful. Even if you have to stand in line, it goes fast!! I would recommend this place 100%.

Waited in line for 30 minutes with my husband & 2 daughters. When we got to the counter, we were informed that the only meats available were sausage & (I think he said bacon...?). It is a Friday night at 5:30 w/ live music starting up. A little foresight might not have hurt. At the very least, an employee should've come outside & informed the ever-growing line that there were limited meat choices. I will definitely be sharing my disappointing experience & will think twice before eating there again.

Headed out to Wright's BBQ and they let us (a.k.a. NWAFood.com) try a little of everything! Brisket was tender, pulled pork smoked to perfection, chicken was juicy, and ribs falling off the bone as expected. Premium BBQ! The big win for me was the sausage links. Arkansas has a bunch of great BBQ but only a handful can serve up a great link. Haven't been out for the live tunes yet but planning to check that out soon.

There is no doubt that this place is worth every penny. Everything is excellent right down to the customer service. the only issue is the space. and long lines. When it's warm outside you can sit in the beer garden. The long lines at lunch make this the perfect lunch spot only if you have the time.
