The Ozarkuban at Tusk & Trotter in Bentonville, AR

One of my favorite Restaurants on Bentonville Square has to be Tusk & Trotter. The are so creative with their menu and seems like their slogan should be “We put bacon on everything” when it come to their selection. If you haven’t done so yet I suggest you try the bacon ice cream. But lets put all this behind us now because it time to talk about the superstar of lunch, The Ozarkuban [Ozark Cuban].

The Ozarkuban at Tusk & Trotter is am amazing “Arkansas” upgrade to the traditional Cuban sandwich we all know and love. This beast comes packed with smoked pork loin, carved pork jowl, and spicy pickles. Each bite had the tenderness of the perfectly smoked meat, the crunch of the pickle for texture, and a mildly spicy bar-b-que flavor. The smell alone will have your eyes wide and you mouth watering. In my opinion (Ken McClary), this is the best pork sandwiches in Northwest Arkansas.

Unfortunately, they do change the menu often so hopefully for the sake of all mankind, you will be one of the lucky few to share this same experience with me. I don’t believe I have ordered it off their dinner menu but I think I have ordered 20+ Ozarkuban for lunch over the years.
